Join CASA's Get Out The Vote Campaign

This fall, CASA and its 23 member student associations will be launching a nationwide Get Out The Vote (GOTV) campaign! This non-partisan campaign aims to encourage post-secondary students across the country to get out and vote in the 2019 federal election and to make sure their voice is heard. The last time CASA ran this campaign, in 2015, campus leaders managed to get 42,000 students to pledge to vote, and made a big difference in the turnout of young people at the polls. This time, we plan to make an even greater impact.

We are offering student associations who are not currently members of CASA the unique opportunity to take part in the 2019 Get Out The Vote campaign. Details on how are provided below:

Regional GOTV Conferences

In preparation for the campaign, CASA will be hosting three regional training conferences. Participating associations are required to attend the one in their area, and are encouraged to bring as many executives, council members, and volunteers of the campaign to learn how to run this coordinated voter mobilization effort on their campus.

Prior to attending the conference, CASA expects each student association to submit a preliminary campaign plan, using the template and the information we will provide you with upon purchasing the campaign. There is also ample opportunity to tailor the campaign to each individual campus, as each has different needs.
