This fall, CASA and its 23 member student associations will be launching a nationwide Get Out The Vote (GOTV) campaign! This non-partisan campaign aims to encourage post-secondary students across the country to get out and vote in the 2019 federal election and to make sure their voice is heard.
In preparation for the campaign, CASA will be hosting three regional training conferences. Participating associations are encouraged to bring as many executives, council members, and volunteers of the campaign to learn how to run this coordinated voter mobilization effort on their campus. There is also ample opportunity to tailor the campaign to each individual campus, as each has different needs.
This GOTV conference is for participating student associations from Canada's Central provinces: Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and Nunavut.
When & Where
The two-day conference will be held from August 15-16 in the Montgomery room of the Carleton Suite Hotel in Ottawa, ON.
