Approval & Duration
Upon approval by the Board of Directors, Observer Status is granted for a period of two (2) years.

The two-year observer term provides associations with the opportunity to attend CASA’s 4 annual conference to experience CASA’s national advocacy work firsthand and assess whether membership aligns with their governance structure and advocacy needs.

Observers are required to pay a $750 fee per delegate, per conference.

Observers are able to apply for Membership at any point during their Observeship term in accordance to CASA’s By-Laws and Operating Procedures.

Re-Application Policy
At the conclusion of the two-year observer term, associations that choose not to pursue membership must wait three (3) years before re-applying for Observer Status. During the 3 years, associations can apply to become Member of the Corporation.
