CASA believes it is important that student leaders and their constituents alike can easily understand membership fees. Thus, CASA has an easy to understand formula to calculate membership fees set out in our Operational Procedures. Student numbers are calculated using the PSIS Data collected by Statistics Canada.
A full member’s fees for the 2024-2025 fiscal year are calculated using the following formula:

6,001 to 12,000 |
$3.74 |
12,001 to 20,000 |
$3.46 |
20,001 and above |
$3.08 |
Membership fees shall be subject to a maximum of $66,061 and a minimum of $6,410 per fiscal year 2024-2025, subject to slight annual adjustments for inflation.
