Fees

CASA believes it is essential that both student leaders and their constituents have a clear understanding of how membership fees are determined. To ensure transparency, CASA uses a simple formula outlined in its Operational Procedures. Fees are based on student enrolment figures from Statistics Canada's PSIS data and are set by student leaders at the CASA table.

A full member’s fees for the 2025-2026 fiscal year are calculated using the following formula:

Number of students

Cost per full-time equivalent (FTE) student

1 to 6,000

$4.16

6,001  to 12,000

$3.83

12,001 to  20,000

$3.54

20,001 and above

$3.15

Membership fees shall be subject to a maximum of $67,647.47 and a minimum of $6,564.49 per fiscal year 2024-2025, subject to slight annual adjustments for inflation.
