Bilal Faisal Faheem serves as the Treasurer on the 2025–26 Board of Directors for CASA. He is currently the President of the University of the Fraser Valley Student Union Society (UFV SUS) in Abbotsford, British Columbia, where he is completing his BBA Honours with a triple minor in Finance, Professional Sales, and Organizational Studies. Originally from Delhi, India, Bilal moved to Canada two years ago, when he got involved in student advocacy and has not left since. Since then, he has served in multiple leadership roles at UFV SUS, starting as Assistant Vice President in 2023, then becoming Vice President Students in 2024, and now President in his third year.
This is Bilal’s first year at CASA, and he’s excited to contribute in his role as Treasurer. He deeply values transparency and accountability, principles he actively advocates for at his home student union. At CASA, he aims to ensure that all member associations have a clear understanding of how their fees are used and the value these investments bring. He is committed to shaping the financial direction of CASA around member feedback and simplifying financial information for all delegates.
Bilal also brings prior experience with budgeting, having worked on the UFV SUS budget and serving as Treasurer for another local nonprofit organization in BC. He is also highly passionate about management and operational strategy and looks forward to contributing to CASA’s financial sustainability and long-term success.
When he is not in his office, Bilal loves to spend time with his family and friends, travel, and play football (the original one)
