A new Parliament brings new opportunities to bring student voices to the table. You've been working tirelessly on your campus to fight for students' needs, and we want YOU to join students from one side of the country to the other on Parliament Hill in February!
The Canadian Alliance of Student Associations (CASA) is celebrating our 25th anniversary, and we are working with the Quebec Student Union (QSU) to bring student leaders to Ottawa for another successful Advocacy Week. This event is the culmination of a year's work in policy development, relationship building, and localized advocacy initiatives, where you can meet directly with Members of Parliament, Senators, and other influential decision-makers to talk about student issues.
How does it work exactly? We handle the logistics of booking meetings and preparing supporting materials for you in advance. Once you arrive in Ottawa, we’ll spend time delving into the research behind the policy that you will be discussing on Parliament Hill, and run workshops on how to effectively advocate on the issues that matter most. After you've met with decision-makers, we'll finish off the week by wrapping up the year, providing updates on committee work, policy development, and giving an overview of the year ahead.
Register by February 2nd to join students from across the country in advocating for a more accessible, affordable, innovative, and high-quality post-secondary system in Canada!
