Hannah Hunter is the Policy and Research Analyst at the Canadian Alliance of Student Associations (CASA). She holds a PhD in Human Geography from Queen's University, a Master’s in Environmental Policy from the University of Sussex, and a BA in International Relations and Political Science from the University of Birmingham, bringing a multidisciplinary and data-driven lens to federal policy development.
In the few years prior to joining CASA, Hannah has been a Vanier Scholar at Queen's University, a Mitacs Research Fellow at Cornell University, an adjunct professor at Queen's University and Trent University, and a vice-president of her graduate student labour union at Queen's.
Hannah brings a particular interest in graduate student issues, science policy, and student employment, and is passionate about communicating CASA's research and policy recommendations to the government and public in innovative formats.
In her free time she loves to drink tea, play football (soccer), ride her bike, and go searching for cool birds.
