CASA Joins Partners to Publish Educated Solutions: Our Evolving Partner in Education: Technology in Post-Secondary

TORONTO, Sept 15th, 2023 - The Canadian Alliance of Student Associations (CASA), in collaboration with the Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance (OUSA) and student unions across Ontario, has released the 2023 Educated Solutions report. This edition of Educated Solutions Volume 17 focuses on how technology impacts the future of post-secondary education in Ontario, and examines the various areas that governments, stakeholders, and institutions must consider as they develop their strategic visions for the sector.

“CASA is pleased to have contributed to this valuable report. The conversations that students and stakeholders in the post-secondary sector are having always prove to be important and far reaching for the future of the industry. Technology is a key factor in the accessibility of education for students in Canada, and CASA is always looking forward to collaborating with our post secondary partners in highlighting these factors,” Wasiimah Joomun, Executive Director at CASA.

Over the past two years, the impacts of COVID-19 have sparked intense conversation over how post secondary can modify its policies and practices to generate a more accessible, affordable, high quality, and innovative education system. Technology has allowed for many advancements in the post-secondary system, and this report is key in examining how students and the sector as a whole can benefit from further technological benefits.

Each year, Educated Solutions gives post-secondary stakeholders across Ontario an opportunity to provide their thoughts, opinions, and insights on issues impacting Ontario’s post-secondary education system. CASA hopes that the diverse perspectives in the 2023 edition will offer an understanding into how all post-secondary sector leaders and partners, both provincial and federal, can work together to shape the future of post-secondary to be more affordable, accessible, high quality, and innovative.
