Johnathan Rix

Johnathan Rix is a former student leader from the University of Prince Edward Island Student Union. During his time at the UPEISU, he served for two terms on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Alliance of Student Associations as the Director-at-Large Policy in 2015-2016, and as the Chair in the 2016-2017 academic year. After graduating from UPEI with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in May 2017, he now works as a Legislative Communications Assistant in the Government Members’ Office in Prince Edward Island. The advancement of accessibility and affordability of post-secondary education has always been a passion of his, and he’s particularly interested in how post-secondary education plays a role in the fields of innovation, and economic development.
