Herbert Adutwum-Bempah

University of New Brunswick Student Union

Herbert is an international student from Ghana, West Africa majoring in Human Resources Management with a concentration in Finance at the University of New Brunswick. In addition to his three years working with the UNB Student Union, Herbert has been involved on campus as Co-Chair for TEDxUNB, a residence proctor in multiple houses as well as the Treasurer for the African and Caribbean Society. As VP Internal for the Student Union last year, he successfully advocated for a Fall Reading Week for UNB students, helped to implement a Wellness Week at the university and created the “Breaking Stereotypes Project” to debunk false stereotypes amongst marginalized groups. He is very excited about the opportunity to help students on a national scale this year through his involvement with CASA's Member Relations Committee and Board of Directors. In his spare time, Herbert enjoys "soccer" (football) and is a hardcore R&B and hip hop fan.
