Tristan Bray is the Vice President External at the University of Calgary Students’ Union. His role is to represent undergraduate students before the municipal, provincial, and federal levels of government. Tristan is in his final year of studies, majoring in Political Science with a focus on comparative politics. Prior to his election as Vice President External, Tristan was extremely engaged on the U of C campus. He served as president of one of the largest political clubs, is a member and past executive of the Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta, and represented students on the Faculty of Arts Student Association as the Political Science department representative.
Outside of school Tristan has diverse work experience, having worked as a bartender, an ice cream scooper, and most recently as an intern at a large financial services company. Tristan is excited to serve on the board as the National Advocacy Director. As Director, he will be encouraging CASA delegates to build relationships with their local Members of Parliament, and providing the tools necessary to do so. Tristan also oversees the National Advocacy Team, and will be planning and executing campaigns put forward by it.
